A beautiful frame can make or break a piece of artwork and we believe our prints deserve something very special. Each
one of our frames are hand crafted and finished in our own workshop here in the UK. Our unique collection embodies our commitment to using only the highest quality materials and craftsmanship.

Hand Crafted - Our frames are professionally crafted, each one being glued, filled, sanded and waxed by hand. Each print is professionally framed to the highest standard with taped backs, brass hanging hardware and wool bumpers.

Solid Wood - All of our frames are made from solid wood and our hand painted collection is also certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which means that it meets the "gold standard" for sustainability. The wood is harvested from forests which are responsibly managed, socially beneficial, environmentally conscious, and economically viable.

Hand Painted - Our unique collection of hand painted frames are carefully colour matched to complement each piece of art. Each frame has three coats of paint, carefully sanded between each one and is then wax finished for a luxurious finish.

True Colour Perspex Glazing - Traditional picture framing glass has a slight green tint to it due to the iron oxide used in the manufacturing process. The Cast Perspex® we use is optically clear and introduces no colour casts which would change the appearance of the artwork. Cast acrylic also offers very high UV protection properties, as well as being lighter that glass and safer to transport. The acrylic we use is also 100% recycled.

No Glaze Protective Coating - Some pieces of art look more authentic to the original when framed with no glazing at all. To help protect the surface of the print when a frame is not glazed, we apply a water based UV protection varnish to the surface of the print before it is framed. The beautiful, very low sheen finish has the added benefit of having no reflections so the art can be viewed clearly from all angles. The finish also means your artwork can be gently cleaned with a soft cloth.
